Watching we need to talk about kevin. Really intentional cinematography devices being used.

Really confused though. In a period of 3 minutes the film switches from Alexa, to 35mm Panavision to 5D then back to Alexa and back to 35mm…Why would a big production degrade the quality of a film by using such a low level camera with 35mm? I just don’t get it. The shots stick out like crazy.

If you haven’t watched any italian film and you are a film major you are really missing out. 

What the hell is with all these people I talk to in my major that never see any films. Its like they forget what they are going to school for. 

I talked to someone the other day who had never seen a film by Sam Mendes, The Cohen Brothers, or Wes Anderson. I would expect at least ONE out of the 3, but he saw NONE of them. Come on guys.
